Igniting Hope

September 8 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

Free

Igniting Hope is a hybrid seminar and forum held in Borneo Cultures Museum, Kuching that will bring together people with lived experience, mental health professionals, helpline providers, media, stakeholders across agencies, grassroots leaders and everybody interested in suicide prevention.

The event will be live-streamed on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/majlispembangunansosial.

We will discuss suicide prevention literacy, and help-seeking pathways, listen to people who run helplines, and survivor groups and tap into lived experience along with a forum where we aim to create a platform to discuss the way forward for suicide prevention in Sarawak.

This event is organised by #ZeroSuicideSarawak an initiative of the Social Development Council of Sarawak and the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health, Hospital Miri.

Registration for the in-person event is free but limited to the first 50.
