Associate Professor Sarah Fortune
Associate Professor Sarah Fortune is the Director of Population Mental Health in the School of Population Health at the University of Auckland. Sarah is also a registered Clinical Psychologist.
Associate Professor Fortune is an expert in suicide prevention across the life span, including both public health and clinical approaches to suicide prevention. She has expertise in suicide prevention interventions, including reducing access to certain methods of suicide, the impact of media coverage on suicide prevention and population interventions such as telehealth and supporting whānau who are experiencing suicidal distress.
