Behavioral Health and Suicide Prevention Panel Discussion
September 10 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Join us for a panel discussing Behavioral Health and Suicide Prevention services at Howard Brown and The Trevor Project.
According to a review by The Trevor Project, “LGBTQ+ young people are more than four times as likely to attempt suicide than their peers (Johns et al., 2019; Johns et al., 2020).” Learn how Howard Brown Health and The Trevor Project provide services for LGBTQ+ young people including the latest in suicide prevention efforts. Join Daniel Eggerding (Crisis Worker | The Trevor Project and Vernita Gray Council for Philanthropy | Howard Brown Health) in conversation with Howard Brown’s Bishop Howard (Broadway Youth Center Director) and Joey Metler (Associate Director of Therapeutic Services). Join us to learn how you can best support yourself, those in your life, and your community in times of crisis and how suicide prevention is for everyone.
