
ZSA train-a-thon: virtual suicide awareness training sessions

Join us on World Suicide Prevention Day (Wednesday 10 September) for one of three powerful, virtual training sessions.
Whether you’re new to suicide awareness or want a refresher, these sessions aim to share insights around suicide and tips for how to spot suicide warning signs and offer support.
Each 90-minute session will include:
- Suicide awareness training
- Insights from lived experiences
- Live Q&A with our panel members
- Links to further support and resources
- Certificate of attendance
Who is on the panel?
As part of the session, we’ll be putting your questions to our panel members:
- Allison Furlong, founder and CEO of Alfie’s Squad
- Neil Boardman, Suicide Prevention Programme Manager at Cheshire and Merseyside Public Health Collaborative
- Dr Claire Iverson, Clinical Psychologist at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust and Director of Zero Suicide Alliance
