Black & White for ‘For Men To Talk’

September 10

On World Suicide Prevention Day – 10 September 2025, we’re inviting schools, workplaces, sports clubs, and communities to take part in a powerful movement: Black & White for ‘For Men To Talk’. It’s about making it OK for men to talk.
‘For Men To Talk’ is a Community Interest Company (CIC) founded to provide safe, supportive spaces for men suffering with anxiety, depression, and grief. Through in-person meetings, virtual groups, walking sessions, and even fishing, men are given the chance to connect with others who understand — and start breaking the silence around mental health.
Black and White represent the extremes that many men silently shift between — from isolation to connection, from despair to hope. Black and white symbolises that mental health isn’t always visible, and that many suffer behind smiles, jokes, and masks.
Whether you’re at school, work, or home, dress in black and white as a symbol of solidarity. Asking for a suggested donation of £1
