World Suicide Prevention Day Community Gathering

The World Suicide Prevention Day Community Gathering is a free, community-led event at Jubilee Park Bandstand in Beaudesert, bringing people together through music, conversation and genuine human connection.

Hosted by DJ Mal, a lived and living experience advocate and community DJ, this relaxed and welcoming gathering will create space for community members, families, friends and local services to connect, reflect and share hope.

The day will include uplifting music, informal conversations, suicide-prevention information and resources, and opportunities to strengthen community connection. Together, we aim to reduce stigma, encourage help-seeking and remind people that they are not alone.

This gathering supports the World Suicide Prevention Day theme, “Changing the Narrative on Suicide,” and its call to action: “Start the Conversation.”
