Run Myles Ahead

Run Myles Ahead is an annual community 5k Fun run/walk held on the Beaches Boardwalk Toronto, Canada, on Sunday Oct 4th, 11am.  The event brings the community together to raise funds and awareness for youth suicide prevention.  In addition to the fun run/walk, the event includes a Youth Fair with craft, a kids’ fresh lemonade and jokes stand, and a community engagement activity in which participants can share their tips for good mental health.  Prizes will be awarded to participants with the best butterfly-inspired dress and to youth volunteer leaders.

Myles Ahead is a lived experience-led Canadian national charity, founded in loving memory of Myles Kulperger.  Myles Ahead focuses on system-level change and resources.  Its Nurturing Mind program reaches over 10,000 educators in Canada. Funds raised will be used to advance Myles Ahead Transformation toolkits for Emergency Rooms and community hubs, as well as youth peer-led education and tools for digital safety.
