Specialized Conference on Suicide Prevention-IRAN: World Suicide Prevention Day 2026

On the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day 2026, the Iranian Association for Suicide Prevention, the Psychology Department of the House of Humanities Thinkers, and Farda Institute of Psychology are organizing a scientific conference and a series of training workshops under the global theme “Changing the Narrative on Suicide – Start the Conversation.”
The event aims to promote informed dialogue about suicide, strengthen suicide prevention knowledge and skills among mental health professionals and related stakeholders, and encourage a more evidence-based and compassionate approach to suicide prevention.
The program includes a World Suicide Prevention Day conference from 08:00 to 13:00, followed by specialized training workshops from 14:00 to 17:00.
