7th National Suicide Prevention Forum – Colombia
Organized by Fundación ANDA Colombia, the 7th National Suicide Prevention Forum is an international academic and scientific gathering dedicated to advancing knowledge, dialogue, research, and collaborative action for suicide prevention.
For more than eight years, Fundación ANDA Colombia has been committed to promoting suicide prevention, mental health, and the protection of life in Colombia and Latin America. This Forum brings together national and international experts, researchers, academics, health professionals, policymakers, community leaders, and advocates to address suicide prevention from a comprehensive and interdisciplinary perspective.
The event explores key scientific, academic, social, environmental, public health, and psychosocial dimensions of suicidal behavior, while promoting evidence-based knowledge, innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and meaningful prevention strategies.
Academia strongly supports the Forum, with the endorsement of Universidad Surcolombiana, the leading public university in southern Colombia, through its Faculty of Health Sciences.
The 7th National Suicide Prevention Forum is more than an academic event: it is a space for global dialogue and collective action, connecting knowledge, science, communities, and institutions around a shared purpose:
To strengthen suicide prevention, promote mental health, protect life, and build hope.
We invite the international community to join us in this important conversation and become part of a growing network committed to suicide prevention in Colombia, Latin America, and the world.
