Kempen Hentikan Stigma World Suicide Prevention Day 2026

This World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) event is organised by the District Health Office of Miri Division through its Psychological Officers, in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health of Hospital Miri, Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Miri, Welfare Department of Miri, Royal Police of Malaysia of Miri, Miri Division Education Office, Civil Defence of Miri, MENTARI Miri, National Anti-Drugs Agency of Miri, Fire and Rescue Department of Miri, District Office Miri and Mental Health Association Miri Branch.

Conversations about self-care, youth mental health, parenting, postvention services, and workplace mental wellbeing will take place with a diverse group of people from all walks of life in the local community.

These engagements with the community aim to change perceptions, work towards ending stigma and build hope by promoting mental health awareness, encouraging help-seeking, and strengthening community support for suicide prevention.
