Dr Vikas Menon (MD, DNB) is currently Professor and Head of Psychiatry at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry. He is on the editorial boards of the Indian Journal of Psychiatry and the Indian Journal of Psychological Medicine. He is the Regional Co-coordinator for the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) – Partnership for Life Initiative in the Southeast Asia region.
