Pan-America Regional Forum | Costa Rica 2026

The International Association for Suicide Prevention Pan America Regional Forum will take place in Costa Rica from 9–11 November 2026, bringing together participants from across North, Central, and South America for a dynamic, bilingual exchange of knowledge and practice. Building on the momentum of the inaugural meeting held in Minnesota in November 2024, the forum will continue to centre regional priorities while strengthening the translation of research into policy and frontline practice. Designed to foster collaboration across languages, cultures, and sectors, the event will create space for meaningful dialogue, shared learning, and the development of practical strategies to advance suicide prevention efforts throughout the Pan American region.

Pan American Regional Conference Abstract Submission

Abstract Submission

Abstract submissions are now open for lightning presentations. We invite researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and community leaders from across the region to share innovative ideas, emerging research, practical initiatives, and lived experience insights in a concise and engaging format. Lightning presentations are designed to showcase key messages and spark dynamic discussion, offering presenters the opportunity to highlight impactful work in a brief, focused session. Abstracts should clearly outline the presentation objectives, key insights or findings, and relevance to regional collaboration and action. Submissions will close on 21 July 2026, and we encourage early submission to be part of this exciting and fast-paced programme.
