Fiji 2026
Asia Pacific Regional Forum | Fiji 2026
The IASP Asia Pacific Regional Forum will take place in Fiji from 14–16 September 2026, bringing together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and lived experience voices from across the region and beyond. Hosted by the International Association for Suicide Prevention, this forum will provide a platform for connection, collaboration, and knowledge exchange, with a strong focus on regional priorities and context-specific solutions. A key theme will be the impact of isolation and the unique challenges of suicide prevention in the Pacific Islands, including access to services, workforce capacity, cultural considerations, and community-led responses. Participants can expect meaningful dialogue, practical insights, and opportunities to strengthen partnerships that support effective, culturally responsive suicide prevention efforts.

Lightning presentations are designed to showcase key messages and spark dynamic discussion, offering presenters the opportunity to highlight impactful work in a brief, focused session.
