Announcing our 2020 Keynote Speaker Venerable SIK Hin Hung

Venerable Sik Hin Hung, MA (London), is a Buddhist monk ordained under the Mahayana tradition.  He is also the 45th generation lineage holder of LingJi and the 10th generation lineage holder of Gui-yang Schools of Ch’an.  His main interest is in ‘repackaging’ the Teachings of Buddhism so that it could become more ‘user friendly’ for people in today’s world.  He was the Director and one of the Founding Fellows of the Centre of Buddhist Studies (CBS) of The University of Hong Kong.  He is currently the Senior Advisor and also the Chairman of Master of Buddhist Counselling Programme of CBS.  He has published books and articles on Buddhism, neuroscience of meditation, Buddhist psychotherapy, Buddhist education and personal growth.  His current research projects include: “religious chanting”, “Zen meditation”, “Awareness Training Program”, “Dharma Therapy”, “mindfulness and meditation practice for youth”, “Guangdong Yuqie Yankou” etc.
