XXV IASP World Congress - Suicide in Different Cultures
IASP World Congresses are exciting events. They provide the opportunity to meet people from different cultures and a space to share and to learn about the latest research and cutting-edge practices in suicide prevention that are happening all over the world.
This is an event that unites a wide range of professionals, volunteers, people affected by suicide and the general public interested in suicide prevention to a common cause: the prevention of suicide.
There are a variety of specialized and general topics that encourage and motivate participants in their work. This year is our 25th World Congress and only the third to be held in Latin America.
Latin America and the Caribbean have specific challenges in the prevention of suicide, but they are also the locations of new, creative and inspiring scholarship with a growing interest in suicide research.
